STORY
I'm 50 years old, an electronic engineer by education, but the never-ending urge to create stuff has led me to a graphic design and art director career. If I think about it more, it's almost like the times when I don't draw, program, design, animate, compose, or solve technical problems make me unsettled and nervous. My engineering mind always craves challenges, and I also pursued a brief indie game dev career. Using code to create art, or even if we call it "just nice-looking things," is often challenging but the ultimate fun for me. Or, better to say, exceptional fun challenges when coding into unexplored territories. Using code to create art, or even if we call it "just nice-looking things," is often challenging but the ultimate fun for me. Or, better to say, exceptional fun challenges when coding into unexplored territories. I didn't write a line of code for 7 years, but discovering fxhash and the generative art scene has reignited that youthful spark in me. It's not just about coding or creating, but the whole feeling of taking part in something as "game-changing" as blockchain art. It meant there was no turning back. We all face daily obstacles, but the amount of positive energy in the NFT space and the genart community, especially, is incredible, and it just keeps you going. Connecting with artists and collectors from around the world and hearing their appreciation, support, and, of course, critique is an incredible thing. Qotonana's generative art projects are ever-evolving, experimenting, and hopefully growing in style and story with every new release. Thank you for supporting me on this journey.
