ARTIST

Rengarajan

A data scientist who turned into a generative artist -exploring the intersection of code, chaos, and consciousness. Fusing algorithms with aesthetics, their work transforms data, randomness, and geometry into deeply intricate and emotionally resonant visual experiences. Inspired by nature, philosophy, and digital spirituality, they push the boundaries of what machines can express.

STORY

I was never interested in creating art that only existed on a canvas. I wanted to collaborate with something larger, more unpredictable. My journey as a generative artist began with curiosity: What happens when code stops being a tool and starts becoming a co-creator? Early on, I immersed myself in fractals, cellular automata, and algorithmic drawing. But it wasn’t until I started writing my own generative systems, often based on mathematics, noise functions, chaos theory, and natural growth patterns. that I found my true voice. My art began to live, breathe, and evolve changing with inputs, time, randomness, or interaction. Each piece I create is an ecosystem. Sometimes it’s inspired by the sacred geometry of temples, the branching of rivers and trees, or the rhythm of Sanskrit chants translated into visual flow. Sometimes it’s pure abstraction an attempt to visualize emotion, silence, or even machine thought. I use code not just to control, but to release control to invite emergence. My tools vary: Processing, p5.js, TouchDesigner, Python scripts, shader languages, and even AI models. But the goal remains the same to make the invisible visible, and to turn generative logic into contemplative beauty. Today, I see generative art not as a genre, but as a philosophy. It's about surrendering ego, partnering with uncertainty, and building visual rituals in collaboration with the infinite.
