Volker

My name is Volker, and I’m a generative artist who is passionate about exploring the creative possibilities of this exciting medium. I discovered my love for generative design while studying and creating plans and 3D designs with code six years ago. I began my journey in this exciting field on the Tezos blockchain, but I recently made the leap to Ethereum after the release of the 256art platform, which enabled me to publish some complex artworks with new insight and perspectives.

STORY

Since childhood, I have been very interested in two things, books and art. My childhood was spent with different stories and books, and I always used my imagination to change stories, and create my own stories, This was exactly what existed in art, so I started to take some private classes to explore different mediums. As a beginner in art, all I had to learn were the rules of drawing, so for a long time I only experienced realistic artworks. After that, when I was about 12 years old, my power of abstraction, which had already grown more than before, gave me the courage to experiment with non-realistic and expressionism artworks. In all my classes, when the teacher was teaching, I was drawing. I was busy combining colors and forms that were unrelated to each other, but in the end they made harmony and beautiful compositions. My strong interest in design and forms made my teachers suggest me to continue my studies in the Faculty of Architecture. After that, my studies in architecture caused a significant growth in my designs and color taste. My success in architecture school led me to search for more, and since I had started programming before school, my exploration of forms and colors in 3D spaces led me to use different software and programming languages. The first language I used was C followed by other languages such as Python, PHP, and JavaScript. I made my first works of art in the C language, but I realized that JavaScript is more suitable than other languages for creating artworks. So I spent a lot of time experimenting and creating different forms until I came across NFTs. For me, NFT and the blockchain system meant a new emerging potential and a great opportunity, but what excited me the most was the discovery of an area called generative art that I did not think was popular until then. Therefore, a new path began for me, which was full of surprises, and the feedback I received from the collectors motivated me to continue the path. After being on different blockchains for a while, I got to know 256Art, and seeing such a space full of people who are passionate about generative art, made me more motivated and determined to create my artworks than before. Colors and simple forms and combining them with each other to create fascinating things and different compositions have always been my interest, And this is influenced by my interest in abstract art and expressionism artworks. So what is always present in my works is the combination of different forms with harmonious colors that finally They form a different pattern and structure, a pattern that would not have been created without each of the hundreds or thousands of seemingly simple and small components of the artwork.
